Your personal data is stored securely in our electronic records system and is accessible only to authorised staff for administrative and clinical purposes.

Your personal information remains confidential except in the following cases:

    2. When requested by government authorities such as the Community Development Authority or Dubai Health Authority.
    3. When it is necessary to share with other healthcare professionals for client care.
    4. When you have provided prior consent for:
      • Submission of questionnaires, forms, or reports to other professionals/agencies (e.g., schools, GPs).
      • Discussion of information with a third party (e.g., parent, employer, educational institute, or healthcare provider).
  2. Children of Divorced Parents

Under UAE Family Law, both parents must provide written consent before Insights Psychology DMCC can treat a child of divorced parents. Both parents have the right to access information regarding their child’s diagnosis and treatment, regardless of guardianship arrangements. Please inform the clinician during the parent consultation if there are any legal family considerations.

  3. Provision of Telehealth Services

Where appropriate, services may be provided via telephone or video conferencing. Some services may not be suitable for telehealth, and your healthcare provider will discuss the appropriateness of ongoing telehealth sessions with you.

  8. Use of Waiting Room

Please note that Insights Psychology DMCC is not responsible for children who are left in the waiting room during therapy sessions. Please do not bring your child to the clinic unless you have someone to care for them if you are attending a session.

We ask that a responsible adult remains in the waiting room for the duration of a young person’s therapy session. If this is not possible, please ensure that a responsible adult is in the waiting room in advance of the therapy session ending. In rare cases, where the young person is an older adolescent, a responsible adult may not be needed. Please discuss this individually with your therapist.
