Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) is a specialised service supporting communication for children and adolescents. It addresses a range of areas including language, speech sounds, voice, social interaction, AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), and fluency. At Insights, our focus is on empowering clients to communicate effectively and confidently in their daily lives.
Our journey begins with an initial consultation and assessment to identify individual needs and set therapy goals. For children, we adopt an affirmative approach, involving parents, teachers, and caregivers to ensure strategies are consistent across environments, and strengths are celebrated. Therapy may include play-based sessions, active learning, or group activities tailored to the child’s unique requirements.
For adolescents, therapy is designed to address specific challenges using consultation, counselling, and targeted interventions. Sessions are conducted in our private, welcoming clinic in JLT, and in select few schools across Dubai.
