Sherri Jenio is a licensed and credentialed Educational Therapist with expertise in addressing complex learning processes related to students’ difficulties or disabilities. She provides tailored therapy programs to help students reach their full potential. Originally from the United States, Sherri has been living in Dubai since 2013, bringing her extensive experience in special education from both private schools and medical clinics in the city. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Special Education from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Behaviors from Old Dominion University. As the Inclusion Governor at an outstanding rated Dubai school in the KHDA inspection and recipient of the IQM Inclusion Award, Sherri Jenio brings her expertise as a CDA-licensed professional, KHDA-certified teacher, and founder of EdFluential. She utilizes specialised strategies such as Educational Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Executive Functioning Skills Development (EFS), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and ADHD/ADD coaching. Her approach emphasises holistic support for students’ academic and social-emotional well-being through collaboration with school inclusion teachers and parents, focusing on personalized interventions and the implementation of IEPs and Behavior/Pastoral/Counseling Support Plans. Specialisms include: Sherri works collaboratively with individuals and families, adapting her approach to meet each person’s unique needs and supporting meaningful, long-term change fro students.
