Shame, guilt, and harsh self-criticism often sit at the center of depression, anxiety, relationship distress, trauma reactions, and religious scrupulosity. In many Muslim and UAE contexts, these experiences are shaped by powerful cultural and spiritual meaning systems, like honor and reputation, family dynamics, authority expectations, gender role pressures, and clients’ personal understanding of God.
This training by Insights Psychology gives you insights for practical, clinically grounded ways to integrate these realities into evidence-based and culturally informed care for Muslim populations.
The course is led by C. Muhammad Kasprowicz, Wellbeing and Psychology Coach at Adults by Insights, with expertise in cross-cultural psychology and Islamically integrative practice. He incorporates faith-based values, ethics, and culturally informed understandings of the psyche into evidence-based methods, supporting clients’ personal and professional development across German, Arabic, and English-speaking contexts.
DHA Approved – 2 CPD Points.
This training is suitable for Allied Health Professionals, Medical and Social Care Professionals, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists, School Counsellors, and other Mental Health Professionals working in the UAE (or with Muslim clients internationally).
