Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) plays a vital role in promoting mental health and overall wellbeing for older adolescents and adults. OT focuses on empowering individuals to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives by improving their ability to perform daily activities, develop coping strategies, and engage in purposeful routines.

Through one-to-one sessions in a private and comfortable setting, OTs use evidence-based techniques and practical tools to help clients build confidence, enhance independence, and achieve their personal goals.

In addition to clinic-based therapy, our OTs may work with individuals in the community, helping them build and generalise essential skills for independence and everyday functioning. This might include supporting activities such as grocery shopping, navigating public transport, or participating in social or work-related environments.

Our journey begins with an initial consultation and assessment to identify individual needs and set therapy goals. From there your progress is reviewed at agreed times, to ensure you and your OT are working towards your preferred goals.
