Dr Mujahid is a UK trained Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience across both South Africa and the UK. He holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Warwick and Coventry University, alongside an MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology and a First-Class Honours BSc in Psychology.

Dr Mujahid has over 10 years of clinical experience working with children and young people. He specialises in therapeutic support for children and young people with a range of difficulties and differences. Dr Mujahid works with low mood, anxiety, trauma, and understanding identity around different thinking styles. His clinical approach is rooted in relational and psychodynamic models, and he also utilises CBT and ACT frameworks in his therapy. Dr Mujahid works with the wider systems around the child/young person including parents, school, and any other key individuals.

Dr Mujahid is skilled in conducting a range of neurodevelopmental and psychoeducational assessments including the WISC-5 and ADOS-2 amongst many others. He has a strong interest in refugee mental health, both in practice and research, and has published widely on refugee integration and psychosocial experiences of acculturation. Dr Mujahid was previously an Assistant Professor at Coventry University and the University of Warwick, where he lectured, supervised doctoral research, and co-lead the ‘Dclinclusion’ mentoring scheme for trainees from minority ethnic backgrounds.
In his spare time, Dr Mujahid enjoys eating food, binge watching series, and unsuccessfully attempting to reduce his golf handicap!
