Dr Dina holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the UK, with over 15 years’ experience across public and private sectors in the UK, Egypt, and the UAE. Dr Dina is a client-led therapist who specialises in working with neurodivergent clients and their families. She is passionate about empowering families to be the agents of their own journey for change. Dr Dina works with children, young people, and the systems around them to support with a range of challenges that can present. Dr Dina adopts a client-led approach which incorporates a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR, family-based therapy, play-based therapy, and parenting support. She also conducts a range of neurodevelopmental and learning assessments e.g., for autism, ADHD, and learning differences. In addition to her clinical work at Insights Psychology, Dr Dina is a major contributor to the British Psychological Society guidelines on depression.
In her spare time Dr Dina loves to spend time with her family and enjoys being outdoors, especially near the water. She is a fan of most music genres and likes attending live music gigs.
