Moving Forward with Purpose: Values-Based Goal Setting in Difficult TimesÂ
Â
In times of uncertainty, change, or increased pressure, it is natural for people to feel unsettled, distracted, or overwhelmed. This practical and reflective session helps adults understand how to move forward with purpose, even when difficult thoughts and emotions are present.Â
Â
Drawing on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the session introduces participants to simple strategies for building psychological flexibility, managing avoidance, stepping back from unhelpful thoughts, and reconnecting with personal and professional values. Participants will be guided to consider what matters most to them and how to set small, realistic, values-based goals that support wellbeing, resilience, and purposeful action. Â
Â
The session can be delivered as either a live webinar or an in-person corporate workshop. It includes 45 minutes of content delivery followed by 15 minutes of Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and consider how the ideas apply to their own work and life.Â
