Job Description

Send us your resume if you are exceptional and are interested in an opportunity to join a high-growth management consulting firm supporting a global biopharma client. We are seeking a Senior Consultant with deep Pharmacovigilance (PV) expertise to help strengthen safety signal detection and management capabilities and optimize case processing operations . This role will support foundational work for a high-priority initiative we are developing with a leading global client, with potential collaboration across cross-functional PV and safety teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead PV-focused stakeholder interviews and workshops across Safety, Clinical, Regulatory, Epidemiology, and vendor partners.
  • Document end-to-end as-is PV processes , with emphasis on safety signal detection, triage, evaluation, governance, and case processing workflows.
  • Identify operational gaps and pain points (e.g., signal workflow handoffs, quality/compliance risks, case intake and throughput, automation opportunities).
  • Design and recommend future-state PV operating models that are practical to implement and aligned to global safety strategies and inspection readiness.
  • Partner closely with client and internal teams to align on requirements, operating model decisions, and execution approach.
  • Develop high-quality deliverables -process maps, SOP/working practice recommendations, governance structures, and leadership-ready presentations.


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety , ideally including:
    • Safety signal detection & management (ICSR trends, aggregate data review, qualitative/quantitative signal evaluation)
    • End-to-end case processing (intake, triage, MedDRA coding, narrative writing, QC, submission timelines)
    • Safety governance, risk management, and inspection readiness
  • Demonstrated ability to lead interviews and process mapping specific to PV workflows and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical + problem-solving skills , with experience translating PV insights into operating model or process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills -able to write clearly, synthesize complex safety processes, and present to senior leaders.
  • Comfort working in global / matrixed environments , including coordination with vendors, affiliates, and HQ safety organizations.
