**Job Title: Processor** **Job Description** Join our team as a Processor where you will play a crucial role in our food manufacturing process. You will be responsible for loading raw materials, operating machinery, and ensuring the highest quality standards in our products. **Responsibilities** + Physically load raw materials such as spices, sugars, and seasonings into machines. + Keep logs, both paper and electronic, of materials fed into machines. + Operate machines to ensure products are processed for the correct run time. + Perform quality checks on products as they come out of the machines. + Mix finished products and maintain quality, preparing products according to established formulas. + Monitor production needs and perform deck setup for the daily schedule. + Use local control panel to manage ingredient additions and batch transfers. + Lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food manufacturing or processing. + Proficiency as a machine operator. + Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards. + Quality control expertise. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Related experience in food processing is preferred but not required. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures in English. + Possess math skills needed to verify quantities of ingredients. **Why Work Here?** Employees benefit from comprehensive health options available from day one, including medical, dental, and vision plans. The facility is a food processing plant where you will work around machines, which can sometimes result in wet conditions due to sanitation processes. Hearing protection is required due to the constant hum of the machines. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.81 - $22.81/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
