StaffBuffalo is working with a well-established plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice in Buffalo, NY to hire a full-time Practice Manager! This on-site leadership role offers a competitive salary of $85,000–$100,000/year , depending on experience, and is ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact by overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring every patient interaction reflects the highest standard of care.

You’ll work directly with a respected surgeon and lead a polished, professional team. From optimizing internal systems to driving marketing and strategic planning, you’ll be at the center of a growing, mission-driven business that blends surgical excellence with luxurious patient experiences.

This is an on-site position in the Buffalo area.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the physician to support strategic planning, business growth, and marketing initiatives
  • Oversee daily operations of the plastic surgery practice and medical spa to ensure efficiency, professionalism, and a top-tier patient experience
  • Supervise, coach, and support administrative and clinical staff; serve as a key point of contact for team performance and accountability
  • Implement, maintain, and enforce office policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflow to optimize patient care, provider productivity, and service offerings
  • Monitor patient billing, collections, and insurance processing (in coordination with billing service)
  • Generate regular reports and key performance metrics for the practice, including revenue, appointments, service utilization, and team productivity
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, accreditation standards, and applicable laws (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Facilitate team meetings, trainings, and performance reviews to foster a positive, high-functioning culture
  • Help coordinate patient satisfaction initiatives and respond to patient feedback or concerns in a professional manner

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing a Plastic Surgery practice
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field
  • Master’s Degree or an Advanced Clinical Healthcare Degree (PA, NP, or RN) preferred
  • Solid understanding of self-pay/cash-pay models, medical billing, insurance processing, and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - professional, polished, and patient-centered
  • Impeccable discretion, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive matters with care
  • Highly organized with a proactive, "figure-it-out" mindset
