Job Description

The Electrical System Design Engineer / PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing and programming PLC-based control systems from scratch, managing projects from start to finish. The role requires direct combustion and burner experienc e and involves designing, programming, and implementing control systems for industrial heating applications.

This position also includes developing user interfaces and integrating control systems with existing manufacturing processes, with a focus on creating efficient, reliable, and innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems for industrial heating applications.
• Develop user interfaces and integrate systems with existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct testing and validation of automated systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system commissioning and start-up phases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to innovate control strategies and enhance system performance.
• Document all phases of the control system design and programming.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in PLC programming and design, from start to finish.
• Industrial heating (Burner Combustion experience) or similar applications is a must for this role.
• Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or other major PLC platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
