Business Travel (BT) Sales Manager
Location: The Westin Westminster, Westminster, CO
Schedule: Full-time | Primarily weekday schedule with occasional evenings or weekends for client events and travel.

About the Role
The Westin Westminster is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Travel (BT) Sales Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. This position is responsible for managing and growing the hotel’s business travel segment by developing strong partnerships with corporate clients, travel managers, and global account representatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in corporate transient sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service while maximizing revenue opportunities for the hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Solicit, negotiate, and confirm business travel accounts to achieve room night and revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and Marriott Global Sales contacts.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, client entertainment, and site visits to maintain and grow accounts.
  • Prepare corporate rate agreements, proposals, and contracts in accordance with hotel and brand standards.
  • Manage RFP submissions and participate in annual rate loading and account reviews.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management and the Director of Sales to develop rate strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Monitor account production and market trends to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and account activities in Marriott systems and the property CRM.
  • Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, client events, and networking functions.
  • Collaborate with the Group Sales and Catering teams to ensure alignment across all sales efforts.
  • Provide monthly updates, forecasts, and reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience required; business travel or corporate transient sales preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with hotel sales systems (CI/TY, Opera, or similar) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent the Westin and Marriott brands with integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
